Volker Behrens is a well known commercial manufacturer of sporting and competition boomerang products. Volker was also a competitor and member of the German International Boomerang Team. Volker was a pioneer in the development of long distance boomerangs and he had demonstrated throws of nearly 150 metres in the 1980s with his popular Challenger III Paxolin Hook. Volker continues to make high performance boomerang products. This includes boomerangs made out of Aircraft Grade plywood, Paxolin, G12, Carbon Fibre, Lap Joint Hardwoods and Strip Laminated Hardwoods.

This strip laminated traditional boomerang was made out of duzens of very thin dark colored tropical hardwood strips The underside has " Series 4 #1 5 mm / 58 gm ; Handcrafted by Volker Behrens " printed on the inside edge. There is a BlueStar paper logo on the underside of the elbow. This boomerang is a very good flyer and it has hover on the descent. Fun to throw. A smooth glossy finish except for a small section on the elbow. A wonderful collectable from the Volker Behrens collection.
