This triblader was carved out of an orange ABS triFly by Eric Darnell. It is one of the first that he made and he sent it to me to review for inclusion in a newsletter article. I have seen dozens of these over the years made by different people, but this one is the best flyer of the lot. It was such a good flyer that it became part of my personal throw kit. Stubby is a Fast Catch triblader boomerang. The wings are shorter than the Fast Catch models. This makes the boomerang a little slower and more stable than the typical Fast Catch boomerang, especially with windy conditions. This is important because the Endurance event counts the number of catches that you make in a 5 minute time period. If you use a standard Fast Catch model, you will get tired after a minute or two and you will start missing catches for a lower score. I have done 60+ with this triblader, so I used it frequently in competition. This triblader is the best Stubby I have ever tested and it is in excellent condition and straight out of my personal throw kit.
