This natural elbow was made out of Wild Cherry in the 1980s by Eric Darnell for Ben Ruhe. The Turning Point logo is stamped on the underside of the elbow. This boomerang is in near mint condition. It is nicely finished. There is a very small edge pit near the outer edge of the elbow. It is difficult to see, but you can feel it with your finger nail run around the edge. This is one of the nicest natural elbows made by this well known boomerang manufacturer.
Eric Darnell is one of America's most innovative boomerang designers and a strong competitor and event organizer. Eric co-authored a boomerang book with Ben Ruhe in 1985 and he has been active in the development of advanced boomerang products for more than 4 decades. Eric also makes beautiful natural elbow boomerangs out of native Vermont hardwoods. Eric was a World Record holder in the Maximum Time Aloft (MTA) event. |
