This art boomerang was made out of Birch plywood in the shape of an Orangatan, the great ape from South East Asia and Indonesia. This is a beautiful boomerang that really looks like a living Orangatan swinging in the trees. This boomerang is in excellent condition. Signed and dated 2006. A wonderful collectible and also an incredible low and circular flyer,
Pat Cardiff is a well known American boomerang craftsman and artist who lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pat doesn't make art boomerangs any more. His current focus is on canvas paintings. Pat specialized in making special theme boomerangs, especially animal art and human caricatures and portraits. Pat's boomerangs have been exhibited in galleries, universities and libraries around the USA. These boomerangs not only look terrific, but they fly well too. Cardiff Art Boomerangs are found in almost every major boomerang collection. |
