This beautiful strip laminated traditional boomerang was was made out of Hickory in 2014 using the Herb Smith Sportsman as a model. Both blade tips have a lead weight and there is a decorative dowel rod insert at the elbow. Both tips are painted red on the upper surface only. A very nice flyer with a flight range of about 45 metres. Taken out of bob Foresi's personal throw kit and in excellent condition. A wonderful collectible.

Bob Foresi is a Land Surveyor from Massachusetts who previously served as the editor of the USBA newsletter - Many Happy Returns. Bob has been making and throwing boomerang for more than 30 years. His strip laminated throwsticks were superb for using in throwstick competitions and they were like Gerhards hooks in feel and construction. Bob occasionally makes natural elbows and plywood sport boomerangs.
