This traditional boomerang was made in 1984 out of 5.9 mm Aussie plywood. A hundred of these boomerangs were manufactured in March of 1984 to raise money to bring the Australian Team to the USA for the second USA vs.. Australia Challenge Match. The boomerang was signed by all members of the USA and Australian teams and sold for $50 each. I purchased two for $100 and only one was given to me, so this one cost me $100. It is in mint condition and it is a very nice flyer with a flight range of about 20 metres. It is also very accurate and it has a decent hover. A very nice collectible filled with important signatures of this important boomerang tournament.
Steve Glover was an Aussie boomerang manufacturer in the early 1980s. He made the traditional boomerangs used to raise money to bring the Australian Team to the USA for the second USA vs.. Australia challenge match. |
