Thomas Hartmann was one of Germany's most famous boomerang manufacturers back in the 1980s. His terrific competition and collectable boomerangs were in high demand at the time of his unfortunate early death. Few of Thomas' boomerangs are ever offered on the open market anymore. Collectors snap them up and keep them. The few that I have sold in my auction have sold for very good prices. This very unusual boomerang is one of the most desireable of all the Hartmann boomerangs. A triangle boomerang laminated in multiple layers and then lapped at the 3 elbow sections. This one was given to Larry Runf at the first International Team Cup in 1987. I have one in my own personal collection. My triangle flies terrific with a low circular 40 metre flight. It does tend to want to land left of the thrower, so you must compensate by throwing more to the right than you normally are accustomed to throwing. |
