This triblader is a modified triFly made out of White ABS in 1992. Eric visited me in 1992 and brought this sample with him. It is a fantastic flyer. I am left handed and I throw roght handed boomerangs. I can easily low a round of 5 throws and catches in the very low 20 second range and it is safe and stable in flight. The bars painted on the blades. help you with visibility as you see multiple concentric circles in flight. This is one of my top 10 Fast Catch boomerangs ad I have stored it for almost 30 years with hopes of thrying to understand why this one is such a superior flyer to that of other triblade Fast catch boomerangs.
Eric Darnell is one of America's most innovative boomerang designers and a strong competitor and event organizer. Eric co-authored a boomerang book with Ben Ruhe in 1985 and he has been active in the development of advanced boomerang products for more than 4 decades. Eric also makes beautiful natural elbow boomerangs out of native Vermont hardwoods. Eric was a World Record holder in the Maximum Time Aloft (MTA) event. |
