The Fall 1998 auction is complete. The table below
summarizes the final results. The first column is the item number.
The Max Bid is the highest amount
that anyone considered paying for that item. The
Win Bid is the bid that decided the
winner. The Adjust Bid is the final
adjusted bid resulting from the 10% limit over the next highest
bid. There were several bid ties, and a few three or four way
ties. In all cases, the earliest bid won. There were 25 boomerangs
with prices over $100. Nine were priced above $200 and one was
priced above $600. The top bid was $643 for a Gerhards White
Lightning Offset Laminated Hook (#31). A Jonas Romblad Burled
Veneer Inlay (#29) went for $257. A Bill Onus Whalebone went for
$250. Herb Smith boomerangs ranged from $61 to $255. Old
Aboriginal throwsticks were priced from $71 to $255. A Janetzki
boomerang went for $209. Two Donellan Whalebones sold for
$205/$212.
