Rus Feuerbach is a well known American boomerang
craftsman who made fine art and sport boomerangs in the
1980s and early 1990s at his home in Agawam, Massachussetts.
The brand name was Flying Eagle Boomerangs because most of
his boomerangs had Eagle art integrated into the art or
shape or both. Rus traveled to tournaments throughout the
North East in his Boomerang Van and sold a lot of boomerangs
at juried art and craft shows. I often get inquiries from
boomerang throwers who are seeking these models because they
had purchased one in the 1980s and were very happy with the
boomerangs looks and performance. Rus has sent me the end of
his stock and this includes the best of all of his sporting
models. This wonderful 3 piece Exec-U-Rang Sculpture has 3
premium left handed sporting
boomerangs. The first is an Exec-U-Rang 01 triblader with
Golden Eagle art and beautiful Walnut veneer laminated on
the upper ply. There is a central hole making this boomerang
easy to catch with one finger. There is also an Exec-U-Rang
00X E-Rang with Walnut and Rosewood veneers on the upper
surface and a piece of Abolone shell glued on the tip of the
inner elbow extension. This boomerang is marked as having a
range of 25 yards. Finally, there is a third boomerang, the
Exec-U-Rang 00XX, with Walnut and Rosewood veneers on the
upper surface. This small V-Omega has a range of 20 yards.
The three boomerangs are displayed on a wooden stand as
shown in the photo below. The bottom photo shows the
sculpture in the unassembled shape.
