This item is a contemporary sling made out of multicolored dyed Camelid fibres and woven with a split pouch and decorative leads. The sling is complete and in near new condition. I purchased this sling from a German antiquity dealer living in La Paz, Bolivia in 2004. It was sold as vintage, but the technology is similar to contemporary slings made in Bolivia. The pouch and leads are in very nice condition and this portion of the sling is strong enough for repeated use as a hunting tool. It has a finger loop on one end and a tuft on the other end to quiet the release. The cords are of a simple weave and not robust. The cords may need replacement after using it several times? I would use this sling to hunt small game with ammo similar in size to a golf ball. Very nice original Bolivian technology.

Length = 134 cm ; Weight = 38 gm
