This hardwood throwing club was made in the early 20th century by Aborigines in eastern Australia. The club has finely incised striations running parallel to the axis of the club indicating that this club was formed by scraping with a piece of stone, glass or metal. Characteristic dark wood color as typically found on these older clubs. No damage of any kind. In exellent condition. Length = 62 cm ; Weight = 248 gm |
