This heavy warrior's spear from North Africa has a long leaf shaped blade on the hean and a spatular blade on the butt. Both blades are attached to the haft with a tight wrapping of forged steel strip. The haft is a very old natural sapling with several surface splits from moisture loss over the years. A very fine patina throughout the entire surface. Originally purchased from the Fagan Arms catalog. Because of the overall length, it would be difficult to ship this spear overseas. This artifact is from the estate of Dain Torguson. The family will use the proceeds from the sale of this artifact to display a sculpture crafted by Dain in a public library in Rapid City, North Dakota.
