This is an old [1970] license plate (#17681) from the Panama Canal Zone. It is nearly flat and it has most of the original paint. The paint is missing in a couple of small areas near the mounting holes, extreme edges and on the letters "ER" in the word "Commerce" at the bottom right of the plate. This plate can still be considered to be in G-VG condition and it would display well. Old Canal Zone license plates are rare in any condition.
