**Handbook of Chemistry and Physics**

**Item EHB06 - $17****Handbook of Chemistry and Physics - 41**Edition (1959-1960)^{st}Hard Cover , Chemical Rubber Publishing Company,1960 ; edited by Charles Hodgman, Robert Weast & Samuel Selby illustrated with tables, formulae and more ; English ; 7.5" X 5" X 3" thick

A practical reference of data and methods in mathematics, physics and chemistry. This volume is reissued each year with updates. The is the 1959-1960 edition. This reference book was valuable to me as an engineer, especially when I needed material properties. The first 300+ pages have mathematical equations, tables and more. Properties and Physical constants fill the pages through page 1573. General Chemical tables fill the next 600 pages. Heat and Hygrometry is the next section (800 pages). Quantities and Units fill up the remainder of the book with approximately 3400 pages total. A few pages are intentionally missing because the page numbers are reserved for future editions, but all of the pages for this printed edition are present and in very good condition. Very good condition overall. The binding is excellent and the pages are clean. This is one of the best scientific handbooks I have used. An essential tool for all Engineers and Scientists

**Engineering Handbooks**

**Item EHB01 - $27****Standard Handbook of Engineering Calculations - Third Edition**Hard Cover , McGraw-Hill, New York (1995) ; edited by Tyler Gregory Hicks , Third Edition , 1600+ pages ; English ; ISBN: 0070288127. ISBN/EAN: 9780070288126

This book is a must for any practicing Engineer. Yes, the internet is fine, but every Engineer needs a familiar handbook where he/she can mark off important charts, tables and equations that are frequently used for Engineering design. I always kept one of these handbooks on my desk and I used it often. This book covers civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, electronics, chemical and process plant, control, aeronautical and astronautical, marine, nuclear, sanitary, and environmental engineering and engineering economics. Also a useful doorstop because it weighs between 5 and 6 pounds. This book is in really nice condition. I hesitate to call it new, but it looks new with only minor wear from handling and storage.

**Item EHB02 - $18****Marks' Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers: 7th Edition**Hard Cover , McGraw-Hill, New York (1969) ; edited by Baumeister, Theodore, Seventh Edition , 2456 pages, 2150 illustrations, 919 tables ; English ; 6 3/8" X 9 1/4" X 3 1/8" thick

Now in its Golden Anniversary Edition, this classic handbook -- originated by Lionel Marks (Editor, 1916-1951) -- continues to set the standard by which all other handbooks are measured. Between its covers can be found more useful information on all aspects of mechanical engineering than is available in any other single source. As always, the emphasis is on concise, practical information -- providing ready answers for the busy engineer. Reflecting the many changes in technology since the publication of the previous edition in 1958, this Seventh Edition brings the handbook up to date. Very good condition. binding is very good. First page has small tear when someone removed their name, otherwise pages are in very good condition and without writing.

**Item EHB03 - $12****The Engineers' Manual Second Edition**Soft Cover , John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (1939 with revisions) ; edited by Ralph D. Hudson, Second Edition , 340 pages, illustrated with tables, formulae and more ; English ; 8" X 5" X 5/8" thick

A wonderful handbook filled with formulas, data tables and everything essential to the various disciplines of Engineering. The sections include: Mathematics (with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus), Mechanics (Kinetics, Statics, Materials, Beams), Hydraulics (Hydrostatics, Hydrodynamics, Open Channel Flow), Heat (Flow of Gasses, Engines, Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer), Electricity (Magnetism, Direct and Alternating Currents, A/C Power Transmission), Tables of material properties, mathematics and more. Very good condition. Previous owner's name written on inside front cover. a couple of small end page tears and creases as expected. The binding is excellent and the pages are clean. As an Engineer,

**Item EHB04 - $10****CRC Standard Mathematical Tables - 13**^{th}Student EditionHard Cover ; edited by Robert C. Weast, Thirteenth Edition , 1964 ; 561 pages, illustrated with tables, formulae and more ; English ; 8" X 5 1/4" X 1+" thick

A wonderful handbook filled with formulas, data tables and everything essential to Engineers, Scientists and Mathematicians. There are many tables with log, trig functions and other data readily available on any scientific calculator, but there are also tables with statistical functions, elliptical integrals formulae, differential and integral calculus, Bessel functions, LaPlace Transforms, Fourier Transforms, Algebraic functions, curves and surfaces and more. Good to VG condition. Previous owner's name etched into front cover at bottom. High School library card and stamps front and back inside pages. Light wear on cover from use, but the binding is in excellent condition and the pages are very clean and readable. As an Engineer, I always had a copy of this handbook on my desk as a reference.

**Item EHB05 - $9****Engineering Manual**Hard Cover , McGraw-Hill,1959 ; edited by John H. Perry & Robert H. Perry illustrated with tables, formulae and more ; English ; 7.5" X 5" X 1.4" thick

A practical reference of data and methods in architectural, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, and nuclear engineering. Very good condition. Previous owner's name written on inside front cover. The binding is excellent and the pages are clean. This is one of the best engineering handbooks I have seen. An essential tool for any Engineer.
