This beautiful lap joint boomerang was made out of Figured Purple Heart hardwood from Central Africa for Brother Brian Thomas by one of Brian's close friends while Brian was battling brain cancer. The boomerang has " To Brother Brian Thomas Wishing You Fair Breezes & All The Best. God Bless You" and it is signed Jerry Shoemaker and dated 17 February 2000. It also has "Figured Purpleheart" and "Quick A-Rang" and dated on the day it was made January 23 2000. The wood has a curly pattern to it and the elbow section is strengthened with a dowl pin insert. The boomerang has been protected with glossy polyurethane finish and is undamaged. This is an excellent collectable made by a skilled Aussie boom maker, specifically for Brian Thomas.
