This right handed traditional boomerang was made out of Birch plywood by Günter Veit for Max Hoeben in 1979. Signed and dated (see photo below). It is a very nice flyer with a flight range of 25-30 metres. Excellent condition and with Max Hoeben's collection label on underside.

Günter Veit is a lawyer in Germany who was very active in the formation of the German Boomerang Club in the 1970s and early 1980s. Günter also made very nice Birch plywood boomerangs and he wrote a book that helped promote boomerang throwing in Germany. Günter has not been active in the boomerang community for the past 2 decades, making his boomerangs very collectible.
