This beautiful hunting boomerang ( throwstick ) was made out of Red Hickory strip laminations in 2022. Red Hickory is a variety of the Pignut Hickory tree family. A great flyer with a totally straight flight of 60+ metres. The shape is similar to that of an authentic Hopi Rabbit Stick. New condition. A terrific collectible.
Bob Foresi is a Land Surveyor from Massachusetts who previously served as the editor of the USBA newsletter - Many Happy Returns. Bob has been making and throwing boomerang for more than 30 years. His strip laminated throwsticks were superb for using in throwstick competitions and they were like Gerhards hooks in feel and construction. Bob occasionally makes natural elbows and plywood sport boomerangs. |
