This unusual boomerang was made in 1986 out of 6 mm Birch plywood and painted with black and white concentric circles and with a red dot at the true center of mass on both sides. It has a flight of 35+ metres and the red dot is at the center of rotation throughout the flight. The black and white arcs become circles while in flight. It is signed and dated 1986. It is in new condition and it was only thrown a few times before it was retired into my collection box. I acquired this omega in a trade in 1986. A very fine and rare collectible in mint condition.

Specifications: Left Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 37 cm ; Weight = 99 gm

John Flynn has been one of America's top boomerang throwers for almost 3 decades. John is especially well known for his competitiveness in the Fast Catch event. However, John is skilled in all of the competition events and has been a prominent member of an American boomerang team in almost every international event. John makes a large percentage of the boomerangs in his throw kit. He also made a series of 100 strip laminated omegas and hooks that had the same high performance as the famous Gerhards hooks and omegas. Very few Flynn boomerangs make it into collections because John rarely made anything for sale to others.
