This beautiful art boomerang depicts an Orangutan from South East Asia. It was made in 2006 out of Birch plywood. It is signed and dated and in new condition. It is an asymmetrical triblader with the arms of the Orangutan making up the two longer blades. The legs make up the third blade. This is the best flying art boomerang that I own. The flight is similar to that of a Fast Catch, but a little slower and short of 20 metres. It is really fun to throw. A wonderful and collectible art boomerang by this well known boomerang maker.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 41 cm ; Weight = 82 gm

Pat Cardiff is a well known American boomerang craftsman and artist who lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pat doesn't make art boomerangs any more. His current focus is on canvas paintings. Pat specialized in making special theme boomerangs, especially animal art and human caricatures and portraits. Pat's boomerangs have been exhibited in galleries, universities and libraries around the USA. These boomerangs not only look terrific, but they fly well too.
