This traditional boomerang was made in 1981 out of 6.7 mm Birch plywood. Each member of the Team USA for the first Challenge Match between the USA and Australia was given one of these boomerangs and it had their name written on it. This one was given to Ben Ruhe, the captain of Team USA. My notes say that this one was made by Wings and Things or by Dr. Steve Miller. This one is a very nice flyer with a flight range of 20 metres and a decent hover. It is in excellent condition and a wonderful collectible from this first international boomerang tournament.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 40 cm ; Weight = 71 gm

Dr. Steve Miller was competitor on the first USA vs. Australia Challenge Match held in 1981.
