This traditional boomerang was made out of a Sycamore natural elbow in 1988. It is signed and numbered as #281. Nice airfoiling and it is a really nice returner with a flight range of 40+ metres. The strongly contrasting grain adds to the beauty. The surfaces are smooth and with a high gloss coating of Polyurethane A very nice collectible by this well known boomerang manufacturer from Berlin.
Gerhard Bertling is a master boomerang craftsman from Germany. He makes excellent sport and competition boomerangs and often makes special boomerangs out of strip laminated hardwoods. Gerhard was also involved with the production of Bumerang Welt and a comprehensive website full of information about boomerang history, science and art. |
