Barnaby Ruhe is one of America's most beloved boomerang throwers and a strong competitor. Barnaby is a graduate of the Naval Academy (Oliver North's classmate) so he is naturally gifted in competition strategy. Barnaby was involved in the earliest days of American competition and he has a good pedigree with Uncle Ben Ruhe and cousins Peter and Larry Ruhf as family members. Barnaby is still involved in competition. He was on the International Team that competed in Japan in 2006, a full 25 years after his first international competition when he was a member of the American Team that competed in the 1981 USA-Australia Challenge Match.

This juggling set was made for the Juggling event in 1987 for Barnaby's cousin, Larry Ruhf. Larry used these in competition until the Juggling event was eliminated from the competition menu. Both boomerangs are painted with flourescent orange on the elbows. Both are dated 1987 on the underside and one is signed by Barnaby. This Juggling set is in very good condition. The set may require some fine tuning to put them back into competition readiness.
