This unusual traditional boomerang was made out of lapped Red oak boards. The elbow section is reinforced with veneers of Walnut for added strength. Both tips have embedded weights on the upper surface. The weights are not visible because they are covered with a veneer of Walnut. I obtained this boomerang in a trade in 1985. It is a nice flyer, but I have not thrown it since I acquired it. It has been in my collection box for almost 40 years and it looks as fresh as the day I received. Boomerangs made by Charles Springer are very rare.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 42 cm ; Weight = 108 gm

Charles Springer, along with his brother Bill Springer and his friend Barnaby Ruhe were the producers of the fabulous Boomerang Fever. Charles also made a small number of laminated hardwood boomerangs for his friends and for his own use.
