Georgi Dimantchev is a well known boomerang designer and manufacturer in Bulgaria. He is also one of Bulgaria's top designer of small aircraft and he uses his knowledge of aerodynamics to design high performance boomerangs. His boomerangs often have weights, holes or boundary layer modifying strips on the blades.

This unusual throwstick or hunting boomerang is a replica of an Australian Aboriginal hunting boomerang that was discovered in a museum in Bulgaria by Georgi Dimantchev. Georgi made a mold of this hunting boomerang, complete with incised surface decorations. He then made a replica out of composite materials so that it would perform like the original and be strong enough to throw without breakage [with reasonable care]. This particular copy has a brown color on both surfaces to simulate a natural wood color. This throwstick is a beauty and a wonderful collectable in new condition.
