Steve Miller was a doctor from Seattle, Washington who was a member of 1981 USA Team that competed in the first Australia/USA Challenge Match. Steve made very few boomerangs and he never made boomerangs for commercial purposes. Because of Steve's untimely death in the mid 1980s, few of his boomerangs exist today and his boomerangs are absent from almost every major boomerang collection.

This very rare Steve Miller Flat Top boomerang was made in 1980. It bears the uncommon USBA sticker that certifies it as being a 40 metre range distance boomerang. These stickers were only issued for a couple of years in the early 1980s and only to manufacturers who could demonstrate the range at an annual USBA National Competition. This boomerang has " Steven Miller " and " 7/80 " neatly printed on the underside. The upper surface is painted with yellow stars and a yellow arc that radiates around the center of mass. There are a couple of dings on the elbow and tips, but this boomerang appears to be strong and still in throwable condition.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 35 cm ; Weight = 82 gm
